ADMINISTRATIVE PROGRAM ASSISTANT (OA)
About the Position:Serves as an Administrative Program Assistant (OA) at FTDTL. Responsible for clerical support andpreparation assistance for Attorneys, Medical Review Officers (MROs), Fort Made, MD.
- Maintain control and safeguarding of sensitive forensic documents generated with strict chain of custody requirements in accordance with the established procedures.
- Perform strict control review on internal and external documents.
- Review and proofread lengthy and complex legal documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain documents using complex electronic and manual file systems.
- Respond to telephone and email or FAX inquiries regarding Litigation Support Issues and refer other external inquiries to appropriate FTDTL Departments for timely responses.
- Utilize the appropriate computer software to perform specialized comprehensive research.

GS-07 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE To qualify based on your experience, your resume must highlight at least year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level of pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of office automation equipment. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) utilizing software and complex file systems to maintain and manage various types of records; 2) reviewing and proofreading lengthy and complex legal documents for completeness and accuracy; AND 3) responding to telephone, email and FAX inquiries and ensuring external requests for documentation are completed to meet all rules. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
