SUPV PRODUCTION CONTROLLER

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the Waterfront Operations Department of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.


  • You will serve as a representing authority concerning coordination of control, planning, estimating, financing and work authorization for the overhaul of vessels.
  • You will exercise full authority as Class Team Member in the responsibility of all aspects of class maintenance team operations.
  • You will provide technical guidance regarding repair work, alterations and overhaul on assigned ships and projects.
  • You will assist in developing, coordinating and presenting the technical implications of present and proposed projects.
  • You will review, revise and implement policies, procedures, mission objectives and programmatic design for staff to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment.
  • You will be responsible for reallocation of funds, schedules, programs or researching means of increasing managerial efficiency or productivity of projects.
  • You will provide supervision, adjust work assignments and direct efforts to ensure work is in compliance with current directives and command objectives.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: verseeing the production and scheduling of ship overhaul and maintenance projects by analyzing, planning, and managing resources (e.g., manpower, materials, funding, equipment, polices) to ensure efficient and economic operations.
